What is the best skin product to use for pimples?

I get a lot of pimples and blackheads. My skin is never completely clear, and I want to do something about it. I've tried a lot of different products over a couple of years, like Noxemia, St. Ives, and Neutrogena. Should I go to a dermatologist or is there some product that might work? Thanks!! =]What is the best skin product to use for pimples?
I use proactiv and a topical antibiotic from my dermatologist. It is a good idea to go to a dermatologist, but there are some things you have not tried like proactiv. Clean and clear also makes some products with benzoyl peroxide that work well. They have a persa gel which is like the repairing lotion of proactiv only it is a stronger strength. They also have an acne wash that contains benzoyl peroxide 10%. Neutrogena and St. Ives use salycylic acid for the most part. I am not sure about Noxemia. What is the best skin product to use for pimples?
Pro-Active is the best way to go. I had really bad acne and was a bit skeptical when i first started using pro-active but after a week or so i started seeing results and people were telling me my faced look a whole lot clearer. It's 3-step system but it works.
I use aveeno skin products. I use the foam cleanser, the daily cleansing pads, and the moistering bar. I like the way it works. You can see a doctor and see what he/she thinks.

Hopes that helps and good luck!
i dont know
proactiv or go to your dermatologist
I personally use Neutrogena.... it's a scrub especially for black heads. I have seen a big difference in my skin since I began to use it!
omg same problem. i have blackheads AND acne and it sucks i know. here's wat i do daily and it works:

wash face with soap (designed for oily skin)

then pat face dry

use a exfoilating product to get rid of dead skin

wait till dry and put on some lotion

i recommend the ';clinque'; products. they have stations in macy's and u can just ask them wat products they would reccomend for ur skin and they would even teach u how to put them on and what to do daily. that's how i learned. and believe me it works.
I would recommend going to a dermatologist or you can try proactive I had acne before :-( truly hated it but in a about 1 month it was gone using the treatmeant but I would still recommend a dermatologist over proactive.
Theres a lot of other products you can try for your skin. I would advise you to try Proactive, it has worked wonders for many. If all else fails, the doctor might prescribe you some oral antibiotics, or some creams with a high amount of benzoyl peroxide.
Step 1. is to use an acne-fighting facial cleanser and a soft towel to PAT dry which you need to do EVERY morning and EVERY night.

Three of the most popular acne-fighting compounds are salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and triclosan. These can be found at almost any store, I suggest using a combination of the three ingredients, like a face wash with triclosan (Noxema Triple Clean is good), and then a topical cream (at night) with benzoyl peroxide (like Clean%26amp;Clear Persa-Gel).

Step 2.

Because most of the time acne is genetic and is hard to keep under control - you need to see a doctor and get a prescription acne medication, like an antibiotic or topical cream that you apply to your skin.

There a lot of pills out there which means a little of trial and error until your skin will respond to the right one. Generally the doctor can you give you samples of 1-2 weeks worth of pills and that way you don't have to spend money on something that won't work.

Step 3.

It is important to make sure you shower every day, especially in the evening because bacteria, oils, and sweat from your skin get onto your sheets and then on to your skin which assist in breakouts. I suggest changing your bed sheets pretty frequently as 3 times a month and maybe every week for your pillow case. It's very important that you also start a good dose for about 3 months of Evening Primrose Oil 2x day and Zinc 1 x 50mg day to help reduce inflamation, (they are supplements specific to skin conditions and do wonders) Drink lots of water (NO carbonated drinks of any sort), and start exercising minimum 3 x week (even if it's a good power walk for 1 hr). This will help your body flush its system naturally and prevent further breakouts because by moving, your blood will start circulating at a higher pace and that's what you want.

Try and stay away from covering your face with make up, but if you need to help with your confidence, there are good mineral based make up brands out there, just make sure you do WASH your face before you go to bed at night.

Hope it helps.

For pimples and zits
you can try and use proactive if it does not work for you go to the dermatologist and make them give you a medication or do a test on your skin to see your skin type and the cause and give you a medication.
Ivory soap.
