I have a oil on my skin because when I got to athletics they work us until we can't fill our legs, lol. So I sweat and I wash my face everyday but it doesn't seem to work that well. well thanx. What is the best way to get rid of pimples. Or ways to get rid of pimples?
Like the first person stated go seek some help from an esthetician. See what products and tips she can give you to keep your oily skin under control.
Until then I would personally reccomend that as soon as you're done working out if possible take a shower. Use a face/body wash with asylic (spelling?) acid to help kill backteria. Then use a toner to clean your skin. Make sure you take a shower before you go to bed so that you dont' transfer too much oil onto your sheets and wash yoru sheets weekly.
Whenever I get a pimple for a quick overnight fix I use regular toothpase. Not the gel kind just the regular flavor tooth paste. I also use this gadget called zeno

that usese heat to zap new pimples. Its a bit expensive but it works.
Also don't touch your face alot. You touch alot of things throughout the day. And if you are contantly touching yoru face you are transferring dirt and bacteria to your face which clogs your pores even more. What is the best way to get rid of pimples. Or ways to get rid of pimples?
I use Proactiv and it works great just sometimes it can dry my skin out so I use a moisturizing skin cream to soften up my face, but it works really well if used in the right order and properly.
This may sound weird, but I have oily skin also and I try to wash my face as few times as possible. It works because your skin won't have to make up for so much lost moisture!
Eating a diet full of fruits, vegetables and some raw foods may help with maintaning a good skin and a clear complexion.
Ater you wash your face and if it's too dry you should use a quality moisturizer/lotion. I've recently used a moisturizer called Malibu Hemp Moisturizer. It has alot of good ingredients for the skin. One of the places it's sold at is Wal-Mart.
You might try using some type pimple/acne treatment with benzoyl peroxide.
Find a reputable spa in your area that offers facials for problem skin. Trust me, you'll see a big difference if you get one, at least once a month.
Go ask your doctor about perscribing you something.
My doctor gave me thse pills called 'Tetracycline 500mg Capsules' and a gel called 'Benzaclin'
So what I do is in the morning I put the gel on my face, then whenever I eat a good meal I'll take the pill, then at night I just wash my face with 'St. Ives Apricrot Scrub for oily skin' (non perscriptive) and then I use the 'BenzaClin' again. The morning after this I use 'St. Ives' again then put 'BenzaClin' on. I just keep repeating this cycle.
It works REALLY well, I've only been doing this for about 2 weeks now and my skin has gotten so much better. So talk to your doctor (I was really skeptical at first but now I love the stuff!)
I found two over-the counter products that WORK for me! First, use Dickinson's Witch Hazel Astringent Cleanser. Use it couple times a day. Then use a Retinol face cream nightly. I have the intensive one made by Neutrogena. It's touted to be ';anti-wrinkle'; cream, but do not let that put you off- it ROCKS to help get rid of pimples!
So, if you are a guy and feel funny about shopping the ladies cosmetics aisle- get a gal friend or sister or mother to buy it for you!
