Whats better using a soap like a dial without oil in it or a clean clear product oil free with bursting beads that exfoilates the skin. Which one? Or what about a dove soap?If you are trying to eliminate pimples, what is the better product to wash your face with?
My dermatologist told me to use Neutrogena oil free acne wash (cream cleanser). I use that then use the daily scrub once or twice a week. It is working for me. They also have a moisturizer for acne.If you are trying to eliminate pimples, what is the better product to wash your face with?
Use white egg to your face and leave it for about 15 mins.Rinse with warm water.Mix a small amount of any anti-bacterial facial scrub with water and rub until foamy. Then rinse.
acne is often caused by dry skin (not oily). try using any oil free soap, and then MOISTURIZE!!!!! if your skin is too dry, the pores go ';oh, we are so dry....lets produce some oil...lots of it!'; and they go overboard, get clogged, and boom..pimple! so seriously, moisturize your skin!
The very best products I have found and it works for pimples and acne is Proactiv Solution but you can only get it through the mail.
Otherwise, use Aveno Daily Face Cleanser. It is mild but seems to help for me.
If you are going to use soap only use Ivory. The rest have oil, fat, and other ingredients that are for dry skin or deodorizers. You dont need that and they will make it worse.
After you clean your face use a tonic astringent to dry it out.
Many are sold on the market and they all will work.
I personally use Panoxyl bar soap to wash my face with. Then I moisturize with frangrence-free Lubriderm. Panoxyl is an ance wash and now I only get maybe 1 pimple during my ';time of the month';. I also noticed that your screen name has ';sports'; in it. Sweat is also a big contributor to acne. Make sure you shower and wash up really good after a good work-out. I used to have a bad acne problem. I love saying that, I USED to. You can get both products for under $15.00 at a drug store. really though, you need to figure out what works best for you and your skin. We are all different and that's why products work for some and not for others. If it gets too out of control make an appointment with your dermatologist and see what they can offer you.
Pimples are caused by bacteria in the pores. Bacteria can cause infection and that's precisely what a pimple is--an infected pore.
Therefore, none of the products you suggested will make a dent in your pimple population.
Try a disinfecting cream or gel. Hit your drugstore and look for products which contain a ';2.5% benzoyl peroxide'; solution. Make sure you don't go higher than 2.5% though.
After treating your skin with the benzoyl perozide for a few days, you shouldn't have any acne left at all. After this, regularily washing with a gentle facial cleanser should help prevent bacteria from entering the pores and causing infection (pimples).
Good luck!
My dermatologist recommended PURPOSE SOAP you can find it at walmart or any drugstore. you definitely want to stay away from anything that exfoliates if it has texture in it like beads or scrubby particles because it will hurt your acne and irritate it making it worst. DON'T use dove it has a lot of oils and moisturizers that are not good for your condition.
I've been using Ivory soap...the plain kind with no scent or anything for years and my face is clear. I have used clearasil and all the other products made for pimples/zits but they all seem to dry out my face too much and never really worked for me. Some zit products have actually changed the color of my skin (made it darker or redder). So I stick with Ivory soap..just for my face and it's been working fine for years. Sometimes, Ivory does leave my face feeling a bit dry...I use a little bit (less than a dime size) Oil of Olay after washing my face.
I wouldn't exfoliate your face when you have pimples...it will make it worse. And don't pop (squeeze) your zits. Just put a warm/hot wash cloth and let it ';pop'; naturally...it prevents scars.
Acne or pimples are usually a result of hormonal changes and an irregular and increased production of oil by the sebaceous glands. An excellent remedy for acne-prone skin can be made by mixing 1 teaspoon ground cloves with 2 tablespoons fullers earth and ice water. When you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks to rid yourself of acne.Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
