that one dude who said its right to mix benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid is wrong. NEVER mix them. they work individually but when mixed together, they are too strong for your skin to handle. it will leave the skin irritated and red.





you should apply ice to the pimple for 2 min every half an hour. drink 8 glasses of water [at least 8 oz]





or you can get dried basil and mix it in with boiling water. wait for the water to cool down. get cotton and dab it into the mixture. apply to pimple. leave on for 30 min. then wash off with warm water.Any remedies to get rid of a pimple before i go out in 2 and a half hours??? thanks!!?
Wash the skin thoroughly and make sure there is no surrounding oil. If it's a white head, don't pop it, putting a soft soap on it will eat away the ';white';. I suggest a facial soap, and leave it on for at least 2 minutes, this will get deep into the pore. Then wash it off and wait a minute for it to dry. Wipe softly with alcohol and put a thin layer of scent less lotion to reduce dryness. Acne develops because more oil is produced than the skin can efficiently shed, causing the pore to become clogged. If the clogged pore opens directly to the skin鈥檚 surface, you


get a blackhead. If the clogged pore has a layer of skin over it, you鈥檒l get a whitehead. Acne occurs when the clog is deeply inside the pore.





Acne grows from the inside of your skin, not as a result of fatty foods or dirt. Scrubbing your skin will not reduce acne if you鈥檙e genetically predisposed for it, so spare your skin the rough scrubs.





Treat acne with benzoyl peroxide, an antibacterial, combined with salicylic acid (also known as beta hydroxy), an exfoliant. Benzoyl peroxide comes in a soap or ointment, like Clearasil


or Stridex. Salicylic acid derives from aspirin and comes in a cream form, like in Propa pH. Neutrogena soap contains both salicylic acid and a little benzoyl peroxide. These are for


teenage acne and they dry out the skin. If you鈥檙e not a teenager, try Oil of Olay Age-Defying Lotion or Clinique Turnaround Cream. You can also get topical antibiotics such as erythromycin or tetracycline from your doctor.





You can disguise a pimple with eye-redness reliever drops. Apply a few drops to Q-tip and then hold on pimple for about ten to fifteen seconds.





At night, mix a packet of fast-acting yeast with enough tea tree oil to make a paste. Tea tree oil comes from Australia and is antiseptic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory. Spread over


emerging pimple, and cover with a bandage. Leave on overnight. Yeast causes the pimple to rise out of skin, while tree oil attacks it. It should be gone in the morning.





Or, try this: soak a cotton ball in warm salt water. Press on top of blemish for three minutes to dissolve the top.





Remove blackheads gently so you don鈥檛 scar your skin. Combine 1/4 cup boiling water with one teaspoon Epsom salt and three drops of iodine. Let mixture cool until it鈥檚 comfortable to the touch. Saturate a cotton ball with mixture and dab on blackheads. This will allow them to loosen so they can be easily squeezed with a gauze pad.





When the blemish is gone, dab a bit of honey on the affected area to deep-clean the pore and draw out bacteria. Let sit for ten minutes, then rinse with warm water.
If it is NOT a blackhead put some clay type facial masque on it for about half an hour. That will shrink it a bit. Or if you don't have anything like that some oatmeal will work, too. Make a paste of the oatmeal with warm water and apply that to the pimple. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and wash off GENTLY with warm, not hot water.
