i want to have clear skin with no pimpleand blackheads etc...what can i do to prevent them? What are some ways to reduce chance of getting acne and pimples?
First find a system that works for you and stick with it. You can use different brands however you like but some are made to work together. I have tried murad and it worked, aveda, repechage, and pevonia, arbonne(expensive brands) - basically what you can afford and is easy for you to do. The only thing you need to do is remember to stay on your skin care regimen. Twice a day Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize and use a sunscreen or moisturizer with sunscreen in it. Depending on how oily you are and how fast your cell turnover is exfoliate (gently no St. Ives apricot scrub please) and mask once to twice a week. Start with once and if you notice you need to do it more then do.
Diet should be food pyramid. Fruits and vegetables contain so many healthy things for your skin (you can puree most of them and make masks too). And always plenty of water - if you are thirsty you aren't drinking enough water.
Get sleep this is when your body repairs itself and fights most of the infections we get. Ever notice how pimples just explode overnight - that is your body defending against the bacteria in the pore.
Don't pick, squeeze, jab or prick with a needle or pin. This just injures your skin and makes it take longer to heal.
Peel off masks work wonders on blackheads and you can use them to spot treat or exfoliate the whole face. Those little things that look like hair sticking up when you pull it off are blackheads in the making! (Walmart sells Freeman that's the best of the inexpensive ones)What are some ways to reduce chance of getting acne and pimples?
Wash your face when you wake up and right before you go to bed.
Use a daily cream (moustoriser)
Stay away from junk food
Drink plenty of water (8 glasses a day is mostly recommended)
Dont use make up ..this will clog your pores up
Wash your pillow case often, as all your dead skin will land here and once you put your head on it again, it will stick back to your face.
Try and keep hair away from face.
Keep baby wipes with you when you go out, that was if you start sweating you can just use a wipe to remove the sweat, and try an re apply moustiriser when this occurs.
eat healthy ..like fruits and stuff...
use sunscreen in hot days..
wash face twice a day
drink lots of water
cut down caffiene....works for some people
change pillow case and face cloth frequently so you dont rub your face on used and germy pillow cases and wash cloth for the face again

that's right
%26amp; wash your hair often too. don't laugh, it helps, really
Try changing your pillowcases at least once a week if you have REALLY oily skin. The best skin care system i've used so far is Clinique 3-step with the mild facial soap in the pump, the clarifying lotion, and the dramatically different moisturizing lotion. It is kinda pricey, but it will last you a while and keeps your skin clear, smooth, and glowing as long as you use it. It is developed by dermatologists so that you don't have to worry about it irritating your skin. Also try not to rest you face in your hands which can spread bacteria, which also goes along with touching your face repeatedly.
P.S. Proactiv was a waste of time and money--not the ideal system for oily skin..made my face that much more oily and I hated it.
Try the following:
Water-Drink 2.5 litres of water a day .
Take Anti-Oxidants like vitamins C,E and Co Q10
Avoid refined sugars.
Proper Moisturization.
Exfoliate.
Avoid excess sun exposure.
Quit smoking.
Never leave makeup on overnight.
De-stress your life.
Adequate Sleep.
Regular Exercise.
i used indian beauty stuff, face wash and cleaning bars, it really helped me. try it!
Eat a lot of green vegetables like spinach, cabbage, beans, peas, lettuce, etc. A salad and fruit should be taken daily. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
