What are some easy and fast ways to get rid of pimples for a twelve year old?

My friend has had a discussion with me about how her twelve year old son has many pimples on his face and how it effects him both physically and mentally, to the point where he loathes taking pictures of himself. Are there any ways that can help get rid of his pimples that are fast and easy? Thanks! What are some easy and fast ways to get rid of pimples for a twelve year old?
-drink lots of water

-when its summer go to a salty beach because I've heard that salt and mineral that lie in the sea water is good for your skin

-put toothpaste on his face and leave it for about 10 minutes

-put him on a healthy diet.

And go to the dermatoligist. What are some easy and fast ways to get rid of pimples for a twelve year old?
if they are a lot of them, there's really no simple and fast way to do it. Proactiv doesnt work well at all. I've learned this from personal experience and from others as well. Actutane is what i used. It's a program where you take two pills a day for six months and it basically weakens all the oil glands that help produce acne and there's a good chance it will never come back. some people have to go through the program twice if they start having breakouts once the first six months is done however. My suggestion is to just google Acutane and find more information on it. or go to a dermatologist to speak to them about the program.
Acne Free 24/7 foaming face wash works for my son. Orange pump bottle at Walmart's. We tried the kit with the 3 different things to use , slightly cheaper version than proactiv, but nothing worked as good as the foaming cleanser. Wash thouroughly but gently, 2/day, and don't rinse it off, you'll see a difference right away
Boys won't have patience to sit for long hours with face covered with all types of creams so i think this remedy should be a little easier for him to try. Calamine lotion has a drying effect so it can be applied overnight and washed the next day. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/
i wish that was only true i think sun tanning alot in the summer helps but its winter so tought luck :/ check my question but for some reason it wont let me show the site to the question directly so just go to my profile and view the question
I'm going to assume that they've already tried Clearasil or any other over the counter treatments. if what they're using isn't working them them to try another brand, give that 3 months and if still no results then they can either try another brand or see a dermatologist. The younger you are when you start breaking out the worse it is to get rid of, so a trip to the Dr early would probably be the best option. They can try proactive, but a lot of people don't have any luck with it (myself included) but tell them to give each treatment they try at least 3 months. Tanning in the short run might help but in the long run will only make it worse by thickening the skin (not to mention increasing the risk of cancer and premature aging).
