Don't rub your eyes. Wash your hands and try to remove the hairs above the stye. Massage the stye with a warm flannel or a teabag 6-10times a day. This will help reduce the swelling. Try not to touch your eyes because you may transfer bacteria back to your eyes. To prevent a reinfecion, wipe all surfaces you use with antibacterial spray [including your keyboard.] If you are female, throw away all eye makeup [ouch!]

The best thing I found is using a warm compress. Take a paper towel, soak it in warm water, and then press it against the eye and hold it for about fifteen minutes. Do this several times a day, and the sty should go down after a couple of days. There are also over-the-counter medications that can be applied to the infected area. If, after three days, the sty does not go down, you need to see a doctor. He or she can prescribe antibiotic ointment or eyedrops.
OMG.. I hate styes.. they hurt, I've had a few in the past and my sister gets them alot.





There's a tale that if you rub a gold ring on it gently it helps to clear it, I personally haven't tried that, but everyone seems to say that.





Otherwise, there are plenty of over-the-counter creams. You can also make a doctor's appointment and they will prescribe you eye-drops or an ointment. They usually last a couple of days to a week.





Keep it clean, bathe it in warm water and salt a couple of times a day. If you're a girl, avoid wearing makeup or if you do, make sure it's taken off thoroughly.

its a eye lash hair that is ingrown i always try to pluck the hair n that might help but put a hot wash rag over it first. if that doesn't work go to the doc they will give you eye drops n meds for it
rub a gold ring on it higher the caret the better it will work do it couple of a day and it will be gone within 48 hours my friend gets them all the time
