At the moment, i am using Clinique 3 step, i love it but my pimples are still there. i dont want to use anything that dries out my skin. What is the best skincare range to get rid of pimples?
I also tried different products in the market, Proactive worked on me and cleared my acne but my skin gets dark easily, even with a sunscreen because I live in a tropical country. Based on my experience, a person's skin reacts differently from another persons, to some people it requires at least a month for a product to react. I even went to a dermatologist and the products that he prescribed me is too harsh for me. Right now I'm using Mary Kay products, available through direct selling (in our country) and at the Internet. The range that the beauty consultant suggested is for normal to combination skin which works perfectly for me now. I'm surprised that it does because I usually buy set for oily skin, which resulted to premature lines on my forehead which is not good at my age. I think It's the 2% salysalic acid toner that she added on the set that kills acne, while the rest of the products are for normal skin. What is the best skincare range to get rid of pimples?
find dermatologist and ask what best skincare can get rid off your pimples.
No matter what products you used if you don't monitor your food intake it's useless. And you have to consider other factors too. Like if it's in your genes to have so many pimples. Another things is your food intake. If you eat food that is too salty or too oily or any food that causes pimples, then using products that removes pimples is useless. Plus you have to monitor also your sleeping habits. Sleeping too late and not getting enough sleep could also cause pimples. So, see to it that you have balance. Which means, when you used beauty products you have to be cautious also about your health.
i dont have any after using proactive solution :)
gets rid of small too big groups of acne, black heads, white heads %26amp; makes skin smoother :)
try it buubb : )
going to a dermatologist is such a good idea! i used to get really bad acne and i went and saw my dermatologist who gave me a perscription, i also eat healthily and drink plenty of water, i find neutrogena a really good face wash too!
a good moisturiser is the dermaveen range, they are more pharmacy based (i.e. less commercial than some of the others) and not at all oily!
I used to use Clearasil and it worked well for me.
PROACTIVE!! the 3 step system.
ONLY works if you are committed %26amp; use it religiously~ which is not hard if your serious about cleaning up your skin...
best thing i ever did %26amp; i have sensitive combination skin.

I have a huge red pimple on my nose .?
I've had it for weeks and no matter how much acne spot treatment i put on it its still there the same size i need helpI have a huge red pimple on my nose .?
Put toothpaste. The paste kind not the gel. Just put a dap on your pimple and wait till its dry(3hours) I do it at night and in the morning I wash it off. It really does work. It shrinks the pimple.. and makes it less red.I have a huge red pimple on my nose .?
oaky, I know they say not to pop em but you might need to pop this bugger. When you do, wash your hands b/f and then wash the pipmple afterwards, and apply some neosporen to the spot. Then, just try leaving it alone for a few days, just washing it and applying neosporean. During the day, use coverup and powder to cover it best you can, but at night remove the makeup, this will allow your skin to breathe. Hopefully that helps, it usually works for me. If not, ask your doctor to take a look at it and maybe he/she can help. Good luck! I know how annoying this can be!
ok! heres what i do. i give myself a spa treatment thing to get rid of any pimples..
1st for the big pimple u got...poke it with a needle. to open it up and get any puss it may have build up. then to get the puss of (sounds gross lol) take a cotton ball put ur face wash on it and wipe off the puss.
if u want to reduce it and help with any other acne or lil pimple u might have do this:
1st soak ur face in hot steaming water (but dont burn yourself)
2nd use a sugar srub (sugar and a little bit of water) it exfoliates* ur skin.
3rd.use a baking soda scrub too (baking soda and a lil bit of water) it helps with black heads and makes skin soft.
4th.for the zit u have put white toothpaste on it for like 5 minutes then wash it off.
5th.wash your face with your normal face wash.
6th.your skin is probably pretty dry about now and if u have oily skin well then this should help. but if the skin is dry try using honey on ur face. it hydrates it. u can also use a little bit of olive oil on an dry spots.
7th. wash off the honey or oil...and the pimple may still be red or maybe redder but thats cause of what u were just doing..all u gotta do to help reduce redness is use an ice cube to get it cold, or u can put a few drops of visine eyedrops in a spoon and freeze it some just so it gets cold and then put it on the zit.
its a long process but in the long run u always end up with glowing, soft and clearer skin. =)
and stop touching it or putting ur acne treatment on it cause u will only dry out ur skin BIG time. (so u will get a dry spot) and the more u touch the more germs. hope i helped. i really suggest u try it. and if ur bored its a good way to entertain and pamper urself. me and my best friend do this all the time.
right. run a sink of hot water.. that you can only just manage to put your face in.. then put your face in it for about 20 seconds, lift your face out and wash it with Clearisil Daily Refine Scrub or some sort of Clearisil then once again put you face in the hot water for around 20 seconds again.
now.. quickly let the hot water out and fill it with cool water... now put your face in this for around 30 seconds.. patt dry,
do this around 3 times a day.. but only 2 times with the Clearisil... this should dry your face out abit and hopefully your spot.
good luck,.
oh.. and DRINK ALOT !!!!!! trust me. atleast litres.
Use ice to help get rid of the redness and the swelling. Was wth a more abrasive cloth (make sure it's not scented body was you're using, it irritates your skin!), and apply your spot treatment every hour or every few hours. Clay masks work really well, too. They dry your acne out. Try using Queen Helene mint julep mask http://www.queenhelene.com//skincaremask/a> It works really well and your skin smells fresh afterwards.
Hope this helped.
That happened to me last year, I had to pop it because it was really ugly and it was there for a long time...and if it's there for such a long time it can be bad. I oozed it out...now it's fine =)
that same thing happened to me just put some scrub on it AND DO NOT TRY TO POP IT it'll ******* scar like mine but the scar is gone now
Don't put lots of acne treatment onto your nose.

What is a simple home remedy to get rid of pimples in a couple days?
Are there any home remedies such as honey, lemon juice, or others, that i could use on my face to be pimple-free for good? I have somewhat sensitive skin by the way..What is a simple home remedy to get rid of pimples in a couple days?
Ah the wonders of sensitive skin and acne, I can totally relate. I've had really good results from tea tree oil. Stuff is all natural and totally amazing. It is a natural antiseptic and anti-inflamitory. You can get it at the health food store as a pure oil to dab on to each zit with a cotton swab or diluted into face washes and lotions.
I use an all natural castile soap laced with tea tree oil twice a day and follow it with all natural aloe gel. I also use a weekly all natural green clay mask, and only mineral make-up. For me, half of my acne issues were caused by my skin being irritated from everything I was using to try to cure my zits. I went to soothing and all natural products, and I very rarely get zits anymore. When I do, I dab them with pure tea tree oil and let them dry before I put the aloe on morning and night, and they're usually gone in about 2-3 days. What is a simple home remedy to get rid of pimples in a couple days?
My sister swears by covering it in toothpaste all night.
As for forever- there is no permanent cure. Just stick to oil-free face washes and lotions. If you wear makeup wash it off before you go to bed. And keep your pillowcase clean- (Hair products will get on that and eventually on your face. Plus your skin will be laying on that for hours!).

What is the best kind of face wash for minor pimples and blackheads?
i want a face wash that really gets rid of the pimples. i dont have achne. i do get pimples and blackheads on and around my nose. i want a face wash that will get rid of both but it doesnt have to be a face wash it can be a pad or something. i do have sensitive skin. What is the best kind of face wash for minor pimples and blackheads?
I believe natural stuff is always the best. I use tea-tree oil face wash and it really cleared up my complexion and those problem pimple areas AND it left my skin nice and soft :). I then use distilled Witch Hazel ( you can get it from boots or Superdrug) and apply with a cosmetic pad to cleanse and tone my skin. Drink plenty of water too and I'm sure you'll see the results :)
Ive tried those products like Clearsil and Biore and they didnt make much LASTING difference, it cleared up my spots and then I just got more again. Then someone told me 'Hey, don't you think those companies want that to happen? I mean..if it really did clear all ur spots up all the time for good..they'd go out of business'. I was like..damn, you got a point..What is the best kind of face wash for minor pimples and blackheads?
Try Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (with the blue label) or the store brand version. Its a very mild cleanser that many dermatologists and skin care sites will recommend. Start using it daily and your blemishes should improve.
The best thing to do is use a gentle face wash twice a day every day. Cetaphil sensitive skin cleanser works really well, and won't irritate your sensitive skin. Look for a moisturizer with salicylic acid as the active ingredient. This will keep your pores clear and give your skin the moisture it needs. To clear up the black heads around your nose, you can make a simple mask that will help disolve and soften the blackheads. To make the mask mix pure aloe vera gel with baking soda to form a paste. (You can get these things very cheap at any grocery or drug store) Apply the paste anywhere there are blackheads, and let it sit for about 5 minutes. After you rinse it off, you can very gently squeeze the blackheads out. Don't use too much pressure or you can bruise and damage your skin. This can be drying to skin that doesn't have clogged pores, so I don't reccommend it for the whole face. If there are alot of blackheads it will take a couple treatments to get rid of all of them, you can do this once a week until they're gone. If you use a moisturizer with salicylic acid in it, it will prevent them from coming back. Hope that helps!
Everyone's skin is different, and what works best for one person may not work for another. I'm not sure I understand what you mean that you don't have ';acne'; but you do have ';pimples'; -- I always thought those two words were interchangeable!
Do you have oily skin? I have very oily skin, and get lots of small pimples but rarely any large ones. My dermatologist said that I had clogged pores due to my oily skin, but not true acne (which requires the presence of a certain bacteria). His treatments all focused on keeping my skin clean and oil-free. He recommended using Cetaphil bar soap or Dove Beauty Bar with a Buf Puf sponge to wash my face -- this would both cleanse and exfoliate my face, removing any dead skin, oil, and dirt that can clog my pores. If the Buf Puf is too harsh for your sensitive skin, try a softer sponge or washcloth. (But make sure the sponge thoroughly dries out between each use to avoid bacterial infections, which can look like acne!) I personally have found that it doesn't make any difference what face wash I use, but it's other products that clear up my acne. I have found that Neutrogenia On-The-Spot acne treatment (or other treatments with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, the minimum effective dose) are great about clearing my pimples without drying out my skin like the stronger concentrations! (Many brands have 10% BP, which can be very drying even for non-sensitive skin!)
He also emphasized that there's many things you should do to keep your skin clear of acne besides just using medicine and face wash. Always use makeup labeled ';noncomedogenic'; or ';nonacnegenic'; (products labeled ';oil free'; don't have oil but may still have other pore-clogging ingredients). Mineral makeup is a popular trend right now, and it contains all-natural ingredients and is great for all skin types, especially acne-prone or sensitive skin! (Beware of brands like Bare Essentials which contain bismuth oxychloride, which many people are allergic to.) Also, sometimes makeup or face products can produce an allergic reaction which resembles acne -- just something to think about!
My dermatologist also said that all hair conditioners and many shampoos contain pore-clogging ingredients, so try very hard not to get any on your face when you rinse your hair, and only use conditioner on the length of your hair, not the roots. Likewise, shield your face when using hairspray and other hair products.
And while no study has proven that eating greasy foods causes acne, if you eat greasy food then touch your face, you can transfer the grease to your face which can clog your pores! So wash your hands after eating greasy food.
One last thing you can do is to use a new washcloth each time you wash your face, and change your pillowcase frequently, since facial oil builds on both of those things!
ProActive is the best thing out there in my opinion.
Cetaphil Normal to Oily Skin. very gentle, non-irritating and does not dry out your skin. Follow with Paula's Choice BHA 2%this works

grow your bangs long
Don't squeeze it!!! This will just make it even bigger and more noticeable . Apply a hot wet washcloth over the pimple for 2-3 min. Then apply toothpaste to the affected area. It will probably take a couple of days before you see results.
put a hot wash cloth on it then squeeze it really hard till it pops!!
Put some toothpaste on it overnight.
Borrow some makeup, dress it up, and tell eveyone you have grown 'The Third Eye'...
use ur moms face powder/foundation to cover it up
Go to the health food store, and buy tea tree oil. Dab some one with a q-tip, 2x a day, it will go away. Tea tree oil is a natural anti-septic, it's used to kill bacteria, and acne is bacteria. If you don't want to buy anything, than just leave it alone and let it go away on its own. Of course, it'll probably take forever.

If you don't want to buy anything, than just leave it alone and let it go away on its own. Of course, it'll probably take forever.
